CTU Water Treatment Unit
A CTU, or a calcium treatment unit, is a device used to treat water with high levels of calcium to reduce scale build-up caused by hard water. The CTU helps improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption by preventing scale deposition. On top of this, a CTU can help prolong the lifespan of your espresso machine through reducing the scale build-up. In addition to this, the CTU can help clear hard water from impurities such as minerals, sediments or chemicals that can affect the taste and odour of your water. Finally, the CTU is 100% recyclable, allowing you to help keep our oceans and landfill free from plastic.
iX VEND Water Filter
The iX VEND incorporates a comprehensive 5-stage filtration system engineered to deliver water of exceptional quality, enhancing the taste, colour, and odour specifically for high-volume hot beverage and vending applications. This filtration process helps minimise scale formation, ensuring optimal performance. By incorporating an in-built scale inhibition feature, the iX VEND significantly reduces the build-up of scale, resulting in prolonged equipment efficiency. It is important to note that the iX VEND is not recommended for use with water that exceeds temporary hardness levels of 120 parts per million (ppm).
iX CARBON Water Filter
The iX CARBON is an ideal filtration solution tailored for areas with naturally soft water, where scale formation is not a concern. This system effectively filters the water, resulting in a noticeable enhancement in taste, colour, and odour. The iX CARBON is suitable for a wide range of drinking water applications where the presence of limescale is not an issue. Its primary focus is on delivering crystal-clear water that is greatly improved in terms of taste, colour, and odour.
