This is the original La Marzocco 2.5 bar safety valve for the following machines:
La Marzocco GS3 / La Marzocco Linea Mini / Modbar

The purpose of the safety valve is to release excessive steam pressure in the case of a fault in the steam heating system. This one is factory set to 2.5bar, is CE certified and isn't adjustable. It's recommend that it is changed annually as the safety relief valve is an important safety feature of the steam boiler. If in any doubt about the age of the safety valve, you should fit a new one.
