This is a "CE" certified 2.5 bar, Tea Treated, safety valve with a 3/8" fitting.

H - 60mm

The purpose of the safety valve is to release excessive steam pressure in the case of a fault in the steam heating system.

It is recommend that it is changed annually as the safety relief valve is an important safety feature of the steam boiler.
