This is a 1.6 bar brass safety valve for La Pavoni, Nuova Simonelli & Victoria Arduino.

The purpose of the safety valve is to release excessive steam pressure in the case of a fault in the steam heating system.

It is recommend that it is changed annually as the safety relief valve is an important safety feature of the steam boiler.
