In case you haven’t heard, the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro Kettle has landed in the UK! With brand new features and a stunning design, the Stagg EKG Pro is changing the coffee brewing game.
But how is this new kettle different from the original Fellow Stagg EKG? We’ve put together an overview of the key features differentiating the EKG and the EKG PRO.
Scheduling Function
One of the main differences between the Fellow Stagg EKG and the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro is Pro's scheduling function. This function allows for automatic water heating, when scheduled by you, so you can stay in control of when your water will be heated.
Brew Guide Mode
The Fellow Stagg EKG Pro also has a brewing guide mode function that helps you when you're stuck for brewing ideas. Simply insert the type of coffee you’ll be brewing, and the EKG Pro will heat your water to perfection.
Other Customisable Brew Settings
The main difference between the Fellow Stagg EKG and the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro lies within their customisable brew settings. Although both kettles have to-the-degree temperature control, a brew stopwatch, and hold duration, the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro goes the extra mile. With a high-resolution, full colour screen, the EKG Pro has a variety of settings, including an altitude function.
Both the EKG and the EKG Pro have a hold mode that allows for your water to stick to your ideal temperature. However, the hold mode for the EKG only has a duration of 60 minutes whereas the EKG Pro’s is adjustable for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Finally, the EKG Pro can display a variety of languages, including English, French, and Spanish, whereas the EKG can only display the English language. On top of that, if you ever need to have your EKG Pro’s firmware updated, you can do so through WiFi updates on Fellow’s Updater app.
Multitude of colours
Currently, the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro is only available in one colour: matte black. However, the Fellow Stagg EKG is available in a variety of colours, including Stone Blue and the new Smoke Green. This means that if you want to spice up your coffee bar with eye-catching colours, the Fellow Stagg EKG Kettle may be the one for you at the minute.
